We as a group decided that because we would need at least two different film ideas, we would choose two completely different genres to follow so that there would be no chance the films could be similar in any way.
One genre we chose to follow was a horror/ comedy (hybrid). Films that followed this genre were:
• Scary movie 1 -4
• Scream
• Epic movie
Another genre we chose to follow was a crime, drama, thriller and romance (hybrid). Films that followed this genre were:
• The Sopranos
• Chicago
• The Real Hustle
• Charley’s angels
The final genre we chose to follow was crime. Films that followed this genre were:
• Godfather 1-3
• Goodfellars
• Donnie Brasco
